Ultrasafe detoxifying chemical filters are designed to remove toxic matter from air which passes through the air-conditioning units of tractor cabs, mine trucks and other vehicles which work in hazardous environments.
They have been specifically developed to help protect operators from contaminants associated with agricultural sprays, organic gasses and other pollutants.
Ultrasafe filters are designed to replace the paper filter elements in existing air-conditioning units. We have a wide range of filters as well as the "Ultraguard Remote Mounted Unit" to suit most applications, or we can custom make to your specific requirements.

Ultrasafe detoxifying filters exceed the standard ASAE S525 developed by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers relating to pesticide vapour filters.

Efficient long-life action by the two part dust filtration system comprising of:

• A washable dust pad that can be cleaned and reused
• Electrostatic filter that removes particles as small as 0.3 microns

The Carbon Bed
A bed of activated carbon containing specific impregnates to enhance the absorption of toxic matter.
An Indicator Cell
The colour change indicator cell allowing the operator to monitor the condition of the filter. The indicator cell changes from purple to cream when the filter needs to be reconditioned.
Reconditioning Options
Ultrasafe gives you two options when reconditioning your filter.

• Return the filter to Ultrasafe Products and our qualified staff will inspect and recondition the filter for you
• Purchase a "Do It Yourself Reconditioning Kit." This kit will contain, activated carbon, foam dust pad, pink filter media, impregnated alumina for the indicator cell and seals

"The Ultraguard" Remote Mounted Detoxifying Unit (for all vehicles with a Cab)
Ultrasafe have developed the "Ultraguard" independent filter unit that can be fitted to any vehicle with a cab to provide the operator with a cleaner air environment while working in hazardous conditions.
The Ultraguard is an airflow system that consists of:

• A robust all steal filter body incorporating a detoxifying chemical filter within it's protective housing
• A heavy duty motor and fan and a flexible hose carrying the clean air to the cab through the window or the cab body

There are two ways of connecting the air ducting to the cab:

• With a perspex sheet that must be cut to the particular cab window shape. The perspex cutout is then sealed into the cab by placing the perspex into the window channel and winding up the window so that the rubber H seal provides a tight join between perspex and the glass
• The operator may wish to connect the ducting directly to the cab body by cutting an opening and sealing the ducting to it with a PVC connector and silicone

You can purchase either a 12 volt or 24 volt unit that is connected to the battery by way of the cigarette lighter. The filter body can be mounted anywhere outside of the vehicle: bullbar, roof racks, rear frame at the back of cabin or on the tray top, giving extra versatility.
